Strawberry Basil Sorbet

Serves 2-3

Beat the holiday heat with our refreshing Strawberry Basil Sorbet—naturally sweet, citrusy, and made with just a few simple, whole-food ingredients. It’s the perfect guilt-free treat to keep you cool and satisfied all weekend!

Ingredients (organic/biodynamic)

  • 2 c. fresh strawberries
  • ¼ c. fresh basil leaves
  • 2 Tbsp. fresh lime juice
  • ¼ c. water (or as needed for blending)

Instructions

  1. Wash and hull strawberries and put in the freezer overnight to harden.
  2. Add frozen strawberries, basil leaves, lime juice, and 2 Tbsp. water to a high-speed blender or food processor. Blend until smooth, adding more water if needed to help with blending.
  3. If too thick, add more water, one tablespoon at a time.
  4. Enjoy right away for a soft-serve consistency. For a firmer texture, transfer to a container and freeze for 1-2 hours before serving.
  5. Scoop into bowls and garnish with extra basil leaves or a sprinkle of lime zest.
