Beat the holiday heat with our refreshing Strawberry Basil Sorbet—naturally sweet, citrusy, and made with just a few simple, whole-food ingredients. It’s the perfect guilt-free treat to keep you cool and satisfied all weekend!
Ingredients (organic/biodynamic)
- 2 c. fresh strawberries
- ¼ c. fresh basil leaves
- 2 Tbsp. fresh lime juice
- ¼ c. water (or as needed for blending)
Instructions
- Wash and hull strawberries and put in the freezer overnight to harden.
- Add frozen strawberries, basil leaves, lime juice, and 2 Tbsp. water to a high-speed blender or food processor. Blend until smooth, adding more water if needed to help with blending.
- If too thick, add more water, one tablespoon at a time.
- Enjoy right away for a soft-serve consistency. For a firmer texture, transfer to a container and freeze for 1-2 hours before serving.
- Scoop into bowls and garnish with extra basil leaves or a sprinkle of lime zest.
