White Bean Mash with Lime and Mint

This bright and creamy white bean mash brings together plant protein, fresh lime, and cool mint for a naturally uplifting dish. It supports steady energy, healthy digestion, and a gentle blend of alkaline and acid balancing ingredients. Enjoy it as a nourishing side or as a flavorful base for your favorite vegetables, offering simple comfort and clean nourishment in every bite.

Ingredients (organic/biodynamic): 

  • 2 Tbsp. water
  • 1 tsp. minced garlic
  • 4 c. cooked white beans (such as navy, white, or cannellini beans)
  • 1 tsp. Celtic Sea Salt®
  • 1 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
  • ½ c. water (or vegetable broth) 
  • 2 Tbsp. freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 2 Tbsp. roughly chopped mint to garnish

Instructions

  1. Add 2 Tbsp. of water and the garlic to a saucepan and warm over medium heat until the garlic becomes fragrant and tender.
  2. Stir in the cooked beans along with the Celtic Sea Salt® and black pepper. Let everything heat through for about 2 minutes.
  3. Mash the beans directly into the pan using a fork or potato masher, gradually mixing in the remaining water or broth and the lime juice until you reach a smooth or slightly chunky consistency.
  4. Spoon the mixture into a serving dish and sprinkle generously with fresh mint.
  5. Serve either warm or chilled alongside your favorite vegetables.
