  • 1 c. brewed coffee, cooled
  • ½ c. almond milk or nut milk of your choice
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 2 Tbsp. unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 Tbsp. almond butter
  • Ice cubes
  • Optional: pitted dates, chia seeds, flax seeds, cinnamon, cardamom


  1. Brew the coffee: Start by brewing 1 cup of coffee and let it cool to room temperature.
  2. Prepare the smoothie: In a blender, combine the cooled brewed coffee, almond milk, frozen banana, unsweetened cocoa powder, and almond butter. If desired, you can add a sprinkle of chia seeds, flax seeds, or a dash of cinnamon for extra flavor and nutritional benefits.
  3. Blend until smooth: Secure the lid on the blender and blend the ingredients until smooth and well combined. If you prefer a thicker smoothie, add a handful of ice cubes and blend again until desired consistency is reached.
