Hydrating Face Mask

This homemade face mask can be created with ingredients you probably have sitting in your pantry right now. It’s the perfect combination to fight off dull, dry winter skin. Avocado contains healthy fats that nourish and hydrate the skin and antioxidants that combat inflammation. Aloe provides a cooling sensation while also combatting inflammation. Lastly, honey is a natural humectant meaning it attracts water, making it the perfect moisturizer. This mask works well with all skin types. (Try it on dry elbows too!)

Ingredients (all organic/biodynamic):

  1. ½ ripe avocado
  2. 1 Tbsp aloe vera gel
  3. 1 tsp honey

Directions:

  1. In a small bowl, mash avocado with a fork until smooth.
  2. Add in aloe vera gel and honey, mixing until fully blended.
  3. Wash face and pat dry.
  4. Apply mask to your face and neck, avoiding the eyes.
  5. Let sit for 20 minutes.
  6. Rinse off mask with warm water and pat skin dry.
  7. Use once or twice weekly for healthy, hydrated skin!
