Transform cauliflower into a delicious, nutrient-packed dish with these Roasted Cauliflower Steaks. Each slice is coated in a colorful blend of turmeric, cumin, smoked paprika, and garlic, creating a flavorful and healthy meal. Rich in antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals, this dish offers a satisfying plant-based option that’s as good for you as it is tasty.
Ingredients (organic/biodynamic):
- 1 large head of cauliflower, cut into 1-inch slices
- 1 tsp. ground turmeric
- ½ tsp. ground cumin
- ½ tsp. smoked paprika
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- ½ tsp. Celtic Sea salt®
- ½ tsp. of freshly ground black pepper
- 3 Tbsp. water
- 2 Tbsp. chopped parsley (optional) for garnish
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (218°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Slice the cauliflower heads into 1-inch-thick pieces, and place onto the baking sheet. You should have 3-4 full slices from each cauliflower head. The ends can be saved for another recipe or added to the sheet pan and roasted too.
- In a small bowl mix the turmeric, cumin, smoked paprika, garlic, salt and pepper with 3 tablespoons of water. Brush the cauliflower steaks with spice mixture on both sides and place onto the parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Bake cauliflower steaks in the oven for 10 minutes on each side, or until tender and slightly browned.
- Top with chopped parsley (optional) and enjoy!
