Vegan Hot Cocoa

Warm up your holiday season with a mug of rich, creamy Vegan Hot Cocoa—perfect for cozy nights by the fire or festive gatherings with loved ones. Naturally sweetened, dairy-free, with no added sugar, it’s the ultimate guilt-free treat for this magical time of year!

Ingredients (organic/biodynamic)

  • 2 c. unsweetened almond milk
  • 2 Tbsp. unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2-3 pitted dates (or more for desired sweetness)
  • ¼ tsp. pure vanilla extract
  • Pinch of Celtic Sea Salt®
  • Optional: ¼ tsp. Ceylon cinnamon or a dash of nutmeg for extra flavor

Instructions

  1. Combine the almond milk, cocoa powder, dates, vanilla extract, and sea salt in a blender. Blend until smooth and the dates are fully incorporated.
  2. Pour the mixture into a small saucepan and heat over medium-low heat, stirring occasionally, until warm but not boiling.
  3. Pour into your favorite mug, sprinkle with Ceylon cinnamon or nutmeg if desired, and enjoy!
